Snow is blanketing our world this morning, for the second time this month. It’s high time I record my summer highlights!
This was the summer that almost didn’t come, weatherwise. But perhaps it was just as well to have fewer tantalizing sunny days so that I was able to focus on my projects–getting ready for the big day.
Our eldest daughter, our ‘china doll’, has grown up to become a beautiful bride…
And this was cause for gathering the whole bunch of us for days of summer fun in our favorite places!
…before heading home to savor the last of summer’s glory in our mountain valley…
But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more… O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. Ps. 71:14, 17-18 ESV
