It’s hard to begrudge the passing of summer when Fall puts on such a show of farewell…
We strolled around the neighborhood after church to take it in…
Even the sidewalks boast confetti!
Then off we went to check out a local small town fair. The exhibits were mediocre; the chickens only half as handsome as the ones we raised once upon a time… but the MotoCross stunts were most impressive!
MotoCross at a small town fair!
We will reconcile ourselves to summer’s passage yet…
Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Lev.26:4

Lovely fall leaves! And love those maroon and yellow flowers, whatever they are (petunias?) Ps. Tried making some plum-pear butter. My small batch was so good I made a second small batch ;). Thanks for the idea!
