I’ll fly away, O Glory, I’ll fly away…

It was not a leisurely trip and I did not relish going backward into winter…

But it was a scenic one!

My sister and I met up in Alaska  to tackle family business and found the welcome perk of all this beauty!

And of course, of being together through thick and thin…

Life passes so quickly…

Only God continues unchanged.

I will proclaim the name of the LORD; how glorious is our God!

He is the Rock; his work is perfect…He is a faithful God who does no wrong. Ps.105:3,4 NLT

Home again from my tour-de-grandbabies

I got home a week ago from my grandma travels, to brilliant morning sun pouring in the front window–a dramatic change after living in ‘the shadow’ of our mountains all winter.  It has helped to ease me back into this white winter and a quiet routine devoid of soft baby cheeks and pudgy hands learning pat-a-cake.

Following the visit with the newest grandaughter up north, I had continued my tour-de-grandbabies with a flight back ‘home’ to Powell River to catch up with Jaxon, now 9 months old,  and his parents and aunties!

God sent a batch of sunshine that apparently has been long in coming.  It made the walks in my favorite places with some of my favorite people all the  more special!

I even got a sneak preview of springtime–

On departure day, the rains returned for my ferry crossing to fly home– a fitting finish to a sweet week of home and family.

Flying North to meet the new one ( :

Just two and a half months overdue, it was time for me to fly…

and meet baby Tiffany and try to catch up with her big sister, Alexis who is a very busy little somebody!

Record-breaking snowfall accompanied my visit!

It makes for a much-coveted and refreshing snack!

When it was time to go, we almost found a way for Lexi to come along…

But who would be left to entertain the baby?
