Sometimes you have to just stroll awhile slowly…
…stooping to glean wild raspberries along the way…
pausing to notice the thistles and their bees…
Even things with prickle and sting have beauty.
Sometimes it takes awhile to see clearly…
It takes time for the water to still and the clouds to be seen from a different perspective…
May your summer’s finish hold such times.
Be still, and know that I am God…I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Ps.46:10,11; Ps.23:2,3; I Cor.13:12,13; I Jn.3:1; I Pet.4:8
Yes, even the prickle and the sting have their beauty.
Thanks for this lovely walk with you!
Thank YOU for joining me, Michele.
Hi Linda
thanks for sharing your life with us through your blog :]
We have received some email notices but can't connect through them so I tracked down your blog.
We can't find Sarah's wedding pics though.
Thanks
Sharon Peters
